Ibiza vs Mallorca for your wedding: the honest comparison
10 February 2026

We play both islands. We love both. They are not the same wedding.
Ibiza: high-energy, late-night friendly, internationally confident. The villas are huge. The cost is high. Late-night closures are more common. The guest experience is closer to a festival with a ceremony attached.
Mallorca: more refined, venue-heavy, family-friendly. The fincas are beautiful. The cost runs high but less extreme. Most venues shut music at 00:30–01:00. The guest experience is closer to a slow luxury weekend with a great night on Saturday.

Both islands have excellent vendors and great flights. Both are punishingly hot in July and August. Both have amazing food.
Pick Ibiza if you want late-night dancing, a party-first vibe, and guests flying from around the world. Pick Mallorca if you want a multi-day weekend, a refined aesthetic, and a quieter late evening.
One practical note: book Ibiza venues 18 months out minimum. Mallorca is slightly easier at 12. Bands, DJs and photographers on both islands go first. Book music before anything except the venue.
